California-born and now based in North Carolina, I am a contemporary artist specializing in oil paintings, watercolor, and silk painting. My artistic journey began after moving to Chicago in 1995, where the long winters led me to enroll in a drawing course at a local college. Encouraged by my instructor to exhibit and sell my work, I quickly discovered that art was more than a hobby—it was a calling.

In 2002, while 22 weeks pregnant, I experienced a life-altering subarachnoid hemorrhage. Recovery was long and uncertain, but with resilience, I welcomed a healthy son and embraced art as a form of therapy and healing. This transformative experience continues to shape the emotional depth of my work.

Over the years, I have studied drawing, oil painting, and watercolor with award-winning artists and exhibited with respected organizations including the Naperville Art League, Wake Forest Art Guild, and Fine Arts of Cary. My portfolio spans from expressive oil paintings and delicate watercolor pieces to the vibrant beauty of silk art.

Now living in North Carolina, I work from my home studio, creating contemporary fine art that celebrates resilience, beauty, and the human spirit. Through this website, I am able to share and sell original artwork and prints to a wider audience. My hope is that each piece brings inspiration, healing, and joy to those who experience it.
